What are Custom Tabs?

Custom tabs in an app can provide a great way to add additional functionality or content to an app's navigation system. 

In this tutorial, you will learn how to display custom tabs in Member Profiles and Social Groups in the BuddyBoss App. This refers to tabs that were registered in the BuddyBoss Platform using custom code, or from third-party plugins that insert tabbed content into profiles and groups.

Enabling Custom Tabs

Navigate to BuddyBoss App > Settings > Compatibility.

Under the Custom Tabs section, put a check on the box next to Custom Profile Tabs and Custom Group Tabs then click Save Changes at the bottom of the page. 

Creating Custom User Profile Tabs

You may use the BuddyPress User Profile Tabs Creator Pro plugin to create, remove and modify the BuddyPress user profile tabs with a simple and intuitive interface.

Creating Custom Group Tabs

You may use the BuddyPress Group Tabs Creator Pro plugin to create and manage unlimited BuddyPress Group tabs and subtabs.
