Adding login credentials to your account profile is an important step to ensure the security of your account and provides a better experience should you have multiple tickets open.
Follow these 3 simple steps to manage your profile and add login credentials.
Step 1
Firstly navigate to the Support Portal and Login to your account.
Step 2
Once you are logged in, you will see your avatar on the top right corner of the page. Click on it to open the drop-down menu. Click on Edit Profile. This will take you to your account profile page.
Step 3
Here, add your website credentials. We give you the option to add Live Site URL, Username, Password, and SFTP Details (IP, Port & Credentials).
We also provide options to add a Staging Site URL, Username, Password, and SFTP Details (IP, Port & Credentials). A staging site provides our support team a safe environment to conflict test and debug your environment without impacting your live users.
At the bottom of the form, there is a checkbox of “I agree for BuddyBoss Support to use the credentials provided”. By Ticking this box, grant our support team the permission to access your site. Without this selected our team will not be able to work on your site and will be limited to discussing the issue without being able to test and debug.
Once you have added your credentials, click on the Save Changes button to save your details.
Note: If at any point your credentials change, you can update this form and we'll be automatically updated.
